A small Wheely Bug ride-on is recommended for children aged 1 to 3 years, whereas a large Wheely Bug is best for 3+ years.

What Are Wheely Bugs Made From?

Wheely Bugs are made from various, sturdy materials. The wooden base is made from plywood, the handle from rust-resistant aluminium, and the castor wheels from plastic. The Wheely bodies have a padded sponge layer covered in polyurethane leatheroid.

Where Can Wheely Bugs Be Used?

One of the best things about these ride-ons is that they can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, we recommend keeping them on a flat surface to ensure safe use.

What is the Difference Between a Small & Large Wheely Bug?

A small Wheely Bug is suitable for children aged 12 months to 3 years and sized as follows: 39cm long x 23.5cm wide x 22cm high (seat). It also weighs 1.8 kg.

A large Wheely Bug is suitable for children aged 3+ and has a seat height of 26cm.

Both sizes have a recommended rider weight limit of 25 kg or 50 lbs.
