Read on to find out more about the female personalities who have helped to shape this successful baby and toddler business, which is now in its 20th year, including their personal achievements, goals for 2019 and their most inspirational role models.

 

Michelle –Michelle

Proudest moment to date?

You’ll have to have 2 to be fair to my kids – The birth of our Daughter and Son – They have to be my proudest productions!

Goal for 2019?

To complete downstairs decorating in our new home and not keel over in debt before it’s finished.

Who’s your biggest role model?

My Parents – They gave me all the tools to survive and the motivation to go get whatever I want.

What do you love most about being a woman?

Being a Mum. Kids are the most rewarding thing we’ll ever produce as human beings.

 

HeatherHeather –

Proudest moment to date?

Upping sticks at a very young age and moving to a new country for love was a massive gamble!

Goal for 2019?

To treat myself better; to listen to my body and to not obsess over my imperfections.

Who’s your biggest role model?

Carrie Fisher – not only as a strong princess / general who flipped the normal ‘man saves helpless woman’ story but also as a person who shone light on many taboo subjects.

What do you love most about being a woman?

I don’t really love anything about being a woman.  It comes with a huge number of societal expectations that I often don’t conform to those perceived ‘norms.’  That being said, having boobs and having preferential car insurance rates aren’t to be sniffed at!

Having my 2 children and watching them learn and grow everyday

Goal for 2019?

To run a 10k race

Who’s your biggest role model?

Giovanna Fletcher – she just comes across a normal woman and is honest about how hard it is to juggle life when you’re a mum with a career.

What do you love most about being a woman?

Our amazing strength.

Proudest moment to date?

Persuading a bright but oh so reluctant student through his secondary education and seeing him get a strong set of GCSE results and go on to study a levels.

Goal for 2019?

To become more mindful of my subconscious prejudices.

Who’s your biggest role model?

Without doubt, my mum.

What do you love most about being a woman?

Gender balance is an admirable goal but for now at least, the biological ability to bear children remains unique to the females of our species and that’s what I love most about being a woman.

What do you love most about being a woman?

I can’t say a great deal springs to mind, but being able to multi-task is rather handy. Also wearing a wedding dress for a day was a big bonus.
